JanSamarth is a digital portal for Credit Linked Govt. Schemes, all on a single platform. The platform hosts 13 Govt. Schemes under 4 Loan Categories, 8+ Ministries, 10+ Nodal Agencies with 125+ Lenders connected on platform.
This digital platform and is available 24x7 in multiple languages. It empowers common man to digitally check eligibility under various schemes, apply for loan, get instant loan offers and digital approvals from banks and track loan applications on a real time basis.
The Govt. Schemes under various Loan Categories and the scheme objectives are as under:
1) Agriculture Infrastructure Loan
1.1) Agri Clinics and Agri Business Centers Scheme (ACABC)
Supplement efforts of public extension, support agriculture development and creates gainful self-employment opportunities to unemployed agricultural graduates
1.2) Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure (AMI)
Promote creation of agricultural marketing infrastructure by providing backend subsidy support to farmers, states, cooperatives and private sector investments and to promote creation of scientific storage capacity in rural areas in order to avoid distress sale and to increase farmers’ income.
1.3) Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF)
Provide long-term financial aid for building infrastructure for the post-harvest stage which enables farmers to sell crops in the market with reduced post-harvest losses and lesser intermediaries.
2) Business Activity Loan
2.1) Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP)
Bank financed subsidy program for setting up new micro-enterprises in the non-farming sector.
2.2) Star Weaver Mudra Scheme (SWMS)
The scheme offers financial assistance to handloom weavers for working capital, purchase of tools and equipment.
2.3) Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY)
MUDRA Loan is provided to the non-corporate, non-farming small & micro enterprises to help them develop and expand their businesses.
2.4) PM SVANidhi (PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi) Scheme
Special micro credit facility for providing affordable loans to street vendors. Scheme facilitates collateral-free working capital loans.
2.5) Self-Employment Scheme for Rehabilitation of Manual Scavengers (SRMS)
Rehabilitation of manual scavengers and their dependents in alternative occupations.
2.6) Stand Up India Scheme
To facilitate loans to SC/ST and women entrepreneurs for setting up greenfield projects in manufacturing, services, agri-allied activities and trading sector.
3) Livelihood Loans
3.1) Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM)
Mobilizing rural poor households into Self Help Groups (SHGs) in a phased manner and provide them long-term support enabling these SHGs to access a range of financial services and livelihood services, such that they diversify their livelihoods, improve their incomes and quality of life.
4) Education Loan
4.1) Central Sector Interest Subsidy (CSIS)
Benefits all categories of economically weaker students for pursuing professional/ technical courses in India and intends to provide affordable higher education.
4.2) Padho Pardesh
Provide loans for overseas studies and intends to promote educational advancement of students from minority communities.
4.3) Dr. Ambedkar Central Sector Scheme
Promote educational advancements of OBC and EBC students.
