Radha Madhav Dham has a core spiritual mission “To Inspire Devotion to Radha Krishna”
Radha Madhav Dham is one of the largest Hindu temples and ashrams in the U.S. and is widely known for welcoming hundreds of visitors every day, regardless of their backgrounds, to its religious services, family festivals, and devotional retreats. Located in the rolling hills southwest of Austin, Radha Madhav Dham is an integral member of the local interfaith community, working with other faith-based institutions to provide charitable works and strengthen the common bonds between all religions.
Built in 1990, the temple was created to preserve the devotional environment that prevailed in the ancient ashrams of Vrindavan. Spread over 200 acres, this ashram is a representation of the holy land of Braj in India where Radha Rani and Shree Krishna appeared 5,000 years ago. The beauty and serenity of Radha Madhav Dham is unparalleled.
In addition to the temple, Radha Madhav Dham includes an ashram, which offers resident accommodations to devotees who want to seriously follow the path of devotion, and overnight stays to guests who visit frequently to engage in devotional activities.
We teach devotion to Radha Krishna called Raganuga Bhakti – in which a devotee aspiring to realize God practices loving remembrance of Radha Krishna with a firm belief that they can realize Radha Krishna in this lifetime.
The path of Bhakti (devotion) is a soul’s journey toward Radha Krishna. Our mission is to inspire you to begin that journey, and if you are fortunate to have begun that journey we hope to inspire you to make a steady progress and reach your goal.
Our daily satsangs (devotional programs), special celebrations – organized on all major Hindu festivals, family camps, and devotional retreats — are all aimed at enhancing your understanding of the significance of your human birth and utilizing it for attaining Radha Krishna – the ultimate form of Divine Bliss.
