PUSHBACK is a calm but unforgiving ordering puzzle.
The apron is full. Every jet faces one way and can only go that way. Tap one
and it taxis out along the line its nose points at — unless something is
standing on that line, in which case it goes nowhere.
The jet you want is usually behind the one you don't. That is the game.
Departed jets queue at the gate stands. Get three of a colour together and they
fly out as one, and the stands breathe. Fail to, and the stands fill.
The clock can never make you lose. Find the right order and two stars are yours
however long you think about it. The third star asks for speed as well. When
you lose, you lose because you picked the wrong order, not because you were
too slow.

locked jet, closed stand, unserviceable jet, departure slot
• The hangar: three tools, bought with miles you earn by flying — the crane
lifts a wreck, clear-stand sends a waiting jet home, release opens a lock
• If the apron jams, a tool in your hand can still open it; the game will not
end you on a single wrong tap
• Chains: each departure within two seconds stacks on the last
• One undo per level — thinking is not punished
• Colour-blind friendly: every colour has its own shape, no setting needed
