Buzzing Bee is an Android location-simulation tool for testing how location-aware apps respond to selected coordinates and movement.
CHOOSE AND CONTROL
Select a point on the map, search for a place or address, or enter coordinates. Create routes with multiple waypoints, adjustable speed, and one-way, round-trip or circular playback. Pause, resume or stop a session.
FLOATING JOYSTICK
In Location mode, use the optional floating joystick while another app is visible. Move or resize the controls, adjust speed, minimize the overlay or save the simulated location. Android’s display-over-other-apps permission is required for this feature.
SAVE AND REUSE
Save favourite locations and routes, organize groups and revisit recent sessions. Import and export GPX routes or back up supported local data using JSON. No Buzzing Bee account is required.
FREE USE AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Free users see a bottom banner. Starting a route requires a completed rewarded ad. The first successful route start after the reward opens a three-minute correction window: stop, edit and restart without another ad during that window. Restarts do not reset the deadline. An active route continues after the window ends and can still pause and resume; another ad is required only for a new start after expiry.
An active Google Play subscription removes banner and rewarded ads. Prices and billing terms appear before purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play.
SUBSCRIBER TOOLS
A subscription also unlocks playlists that play saved routes in sequence, Wander mode for automatic movement within an area, custom movement profiles, and advanced movement/realism controls for update interval, accuracy, altitude and bearing. These tools require subscriber access. Basic location selection, routes, speed adjustment, joystick, favorites, history and GPX import/export remain available without a subscription.
SETUP AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Enable Android Developer Options, select Buzzing Bee as the mock location app and grant required location access. The setup guide explains these steps. An ongoing notification offers a Stop action during simulation.
Buzzing Bee uses Android’s official mock-location mechanism. Other apps may detect or reject simulated locations. It does not hide the mock-location flag, change your IP address or guarantee compatibility with another app. Use it for authorized testing and simulation.
Maps, place search and ads require internet access for uncached content. Saved data stays on your device; exported files go to your chosen destination. The Google Play edition does not include sharing.

Simulation can affect navigation apps, including Android Auto. Stop simulation before relying on real-location navigation; pausing keeps the simulated location active.
Simulate GPS locations and routes with adjustable speed and a floating joystick.
