Kakuro solver helps you solve Kakuro puzzles of any size and shape up to 255x255.

Features:

- Multiple hint levels
- Pinch to zoom
- Full undo
- Pencil marks
- Check the current solution

Edit

You can enter the puzzle you need help with by pressing the Edit button.

Hints

Press the Hint button to get a hint. Press Hint again to get a more detailed hint.

Pencil marks

You can mark the possible values by entering pencil marks. Press the Pen/Pencil button to switch between setting the value and setting pencil marks.

Undo

Press Undo to undo the last move. You can undo all the way to an empty board.

Check solution

Pressing the Check button will make the app solve the puzzle and check that your current solution is correct including whether or not the correct values are set as pencil marks.

Issues:

- I've tried to make it as 'human' as possible i.e. to make it explain hints in a human way but have not succeeded completely. Hopefully this will improve.
- It's not easy enough to enter puzzles. Ideally I'd like to make it possible to enter puzzles from a picture but this might not ever work.
- For harder puzzles it uses a 'trial-and-error' approach which some people may not like.
