The app does two things: Imagine you love your friend's WhatsApp status (image, video, or audio) and want to reshare it. The app helps you to download the status file and you can reshare it. It also allows you to send a direct message without saving the contact and supports the WA Business app too.
Status Saver:
WhatsApp and WA Business don't provide the option to save or download the status files (like images, videos, and audio recordings) to the gallery. There are many situations where you want to share your friend's status on your WhatsApp account.
Well, simply open the app, and go to the 'Status Saver' screen from the footer menu. Initially, provide the required permissions. Next, you will find all the images, videos, and audio recordings here. Tap on your favorite status file to view it. You can even play audio and video files. To download, click on the 'Download' button. The file will be saved to your phone's gallery. On the same screen, you will also find options to re-post or share the file using any app.
The app supports 3 file types - pictures, videos, and mp3 recordings. By default, it shows all the files from WhatsApp and WA Business apps. You can change the filters from the menu. Either choose personal or business, or even both at a time.
One cool feature is to rename status files while downloading them. You will find this option in the settings. If you choose the 'Ask every time' option, you can rename the file before saving it. If you don't do this, files will be downloaded with the original name.
Direct Message:
If you want to message anyone on WhatsApp or WA Business, you should save their contact on your phone first. This is not what most people are comfortable with. So, open the app. You will find the 'Direct Message' screen. Select a country code, type the mobile number (of the person you want to chat with), add an optional text, and click on the 'Send Message' button. You will land on the WhatsApp app and can start chatting with the person. If you want to chat using the business app, select 'WA Business' before tapping the send button.
I added two more cool features. By default, the last used country code is selected. If you want to use a particular country always, you can do it from the settings. This will help you a lot of time when dealing with international people. The second one is to set the WA Business as the default one. If you are a business owner, you will love this feature.
Apart from these features, the app supports 4 themes - Light, Dark, System default, and Auto battery.
