There were three wealthy sisters who did nothing else than partying and dancing.
At one point she went to see that such a life nevertheless was very empty.
They recognized that they did nothing good with their wealth.
Until then, they had always been together, but now they decided to split up.
And where everyone came out, there they built a tower in honor of God.
And those towers had to be exactly right. The first came in and built a Holwierde
tower, the second came in Schildwolde and built its tower and the third in Onstwedde.
There are three towers which can be seen from afar and are a feast for the eyes.
