Ratings and reviews

I love allrecipes but this app is awful. For some reason my navigation bar does not stay toggled to the bottom when I have this app open and I forget everytime so I end up clicking on the ad at the bottom every time. I also have the same issue of not being able to scroll back up and it just refreshes. Another issue is that I keep getting notifications, multiple times a day saying the app had been updated to fix errors. Why do you keep sending this to me???.

There is definitely a problem with not being able to scroll back up once you've scrolled down. It immediately wants to refresh the page and shows the round arrow to refresh. This happens once you open a recipe. It's running more like a web page instead of an app which I don't like. Edit to add: the glitch is fixed, and there are no problems for me today, June 2, 2024.

The UI is so bad you can't even get recipes. There is no list, and navigation is awful. Then, you search up ingredients or recipes and it pulls up blogs instead. Where's the old Allrecipes app? It used to be so good, giving a good search engine to search ONLY RECIPES. NO BLOGS. Effing waste of my time. Furthermore, there is some weird glitch where you can't even log in correctly! All my saved recipes I couldn't view because of it. Not that I could view any anyways thanks to the terrible search.
