Pocket maps (TaKa) are a popular summary of important information for operations by the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) and the (volunteer) fire service (FW/FFW), as well as other aid organizations.
In paper form, they are impractical to carry and fragile. Since most emergency personnel carry their smartphones anyway, the digital maps take up no space. The information is also easier to update and scalable for optimal readability, allowing even details in drawings to be recognized. The pocket maps are also suitable for exam preparation or exercises.
The pocket maps in the app are newly created and are not identical to some of the existing ones. The goal is to re-evaluate and prepare the information and make it available in one place.
All information is available offline and without subsequent download.
You can create your own pocket map and embed it as an SVG file. The file must be located in the folder displayed in the settings.
