About this app

Designed for use with Simpel’s safety and site access functionality, the Site Access Kiosk app helps your team automate worker entry and exits. This helps mitigate the risk of unknown, untrained, and non-compliant workers entering your site, and assists with maintaining real-time registers of organisations and workers on your project. Kiosks can also be used in conjunction with Simpel’s proprietary gate hardware.

How it works:

Project teams download the app and customise settings for each project, e.g., visitor management and sign-in restrictions. Set up takes less than two minutes.

Accessing site - Workers sign-in and out of site using individually assigned QR codes which are scanned from their phone, printed on cards or issued as hard hat stickers.

Within milliseconds of scanning, Simpel’s system confirms a worker's identity and checks their induction status, as well as successful completion of a daily declaration form (if required). Approved workers are granted access. Non-compliant workers are denied entry and receive a notification with the reason, e.g., induction not complete, white card expired, daily declaration not signed off. This allows them to rectify the issue directly with the site team.


Real-time and retrospective reporting:

All site access data is stored in the system and can be reviewed at any time. Whether it’s knowing how many workers are on site ‘right now’, last week, or last month, all data remains available for reporting purposes.

Historical access data is always available for admin users, without the need to contact Simpel.
