About this app

What is DKP?
The purpose of the application is to fill out a two-sided investigative report electronically in the event of a traffic accident, when the fault is clear and no one has been injured. This is done in several steps with clear questions and fields to fill in that step by step guide you through the process. Thus, the probability of error is minimized.

How does DKP work?
Install the app on your mobile phone or tablet.
Register an account.
Enter your details as a driver, your car details and information about your liability insurance. All this is entered once and will be stored in your account. That way you will be able to load the data whenever needed. You can even add more than one vehicle.
Start filling out the protocol and follow the steps.
Allow the app to use your location and it will automatically fill in the address of the incident.
If the other driver is also registered with DKP, you can upload their data easily and quickly just by scanning their individual QR code.
Use ready-made schemes and situations and indicate the impact zone. That way you don't have to describe the situation and the damage yourself.
Upload photos from the scene of the accident.
Sign and review the completed protocol.
Attention! At the place where you put your signature, you will see a message if the accident was your fault. Never sign if you don't agree with this.
Once the protocol has been successfully generated, both drivers will receive a copy on their email.
Don't forget to present it to your insurer if you wish to make a claim for compensation.

What are the benefits of DKP?
Using the application will bring many benefits to car drivers. It will reduce the time for manual filling and thereby reduce traffic congestion caused by road accidents. Filling errors will be kept to a minimum. Drivers will be able to add photos of the accident themselves, which will help to easily determine who is at fault. The application will generate an electronic document - DKP, which reduces the use of paper and thus helps to protect the environment. No correction can be made to the electronic protocol once it has been generated. This prevents the ability to make changes after the drivers split.

Is the electronic protocol completed with DKP valid?
According to Art. 5, para. 3 of the Ordinance on the documents and the procedure for their compilation in the event of traffic accidents and the procedure for information between the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Commission for Financial Supervision and the Information Center of the Guarantee Fund:
The two-sided ascertainment report - Appendix No. 3 is also valid when the form is not provided by the insurer.
According to Art. 13, para. 4 of the Law on Electronic Document and Electronic Authentication Services (ELS):
The legal force of the electronic signature and the advanced electronic signature is equal to that of the handwritten signature, when this is agreed between the parties.
