BMS TV (short for Banyumas Televisi) is the first local television station present in the Banyumas area, Central Java. BMS TV was launched on March 19 2003 and still exists today.
BMS TV is purely owned and managed by the private sector or individuals. The founder of BMS TV is a local man, Firdaus Vidhyawan, who cares about local wisdom, so he took the initiative to establish a television station with local arts and culture content from the former Banyumas residency.
Until now, its broadcast coverage has reached the Barlingmascakeb area, on 49 UHF. BMSTV has offices and studios located at the BSI Purwokerto Building, Jl. H.R. Bunyamin 106 Pabuwaran, Purwokerto.
