About this game

Chroma Squad is a tactical RPG about five stunt actors who decide to quit their jobs and start their own sentai-inspired TV show! Cast actors, purchase equipment and upgrades for your studio, craft weapons and giant Mechas out of cardboard and duct tape. Once the cameras are rolling, you will control your cast of five colored-jumpsuit-clad warriors in dramatic, turn-based battles!

Ratings and reviews

So, I remembered this game from 2014-2017 but never got to play it and it de-listed until now! **Pros: I'm playing on regular difficulty and enjoying it. The game is a turn-based RPG focused on team combos or special moves in same vein as Power Rangers (or XCOM 2). And it's relatively easy-to-use. Super charming! **Cons: needs larger font and buttons. And camera angle can make it annoying to position allies behind enemies or character icon. Minor UI issue when you large group.

It's a fun game with simple controls and some good humour. It killed quite a few hours of boredom. I'm not sure if it's just a problem with my phone or a general issue, but it seems like the game screen doesn't fully fit my screen. When additional characters join the fight, they don't appear on the character tabs on the left.

Looks to have started a great idea and passion project, execution is okay, story is pretty average, even despite its parody nature. However the game is broken at the last mission. All heroes freeze up and don't respond to any UI commands. What's more is the developer contact is an uncontactable email address...
