Belgazprombank Bakst is a mobile application - a virtual guide large-scale art exhibition "Time and creativity of Lev Bakst," which takes place in 2016 in the largest museums of Minsk, Riga, Vilnius and Grodno.
The application includes:
- Audioguide for 27 exhibits compiled by leading experts of the National Art Museum of Belarus (audio guide text reads Pavel Kanash (Belgazprombank);
- 10 reproductions of works by Leon Bakst;
- 17 reproductions of works of "World of Art" artists;
- Text descriptions of exhibits;
- Diagram and detailed information about the exhibition.
The artists whose works are displayed in the application: Leon Bakst, Alexander Benois, Albert Benois, Gregory Bobrowski, Maximilian Voloshin, Alexander Golovin, Konstantin Korovin, Napoleon Orda, Ilya Repin, ferdynand ruszczyc, Valentin Serov, Casimir Stabrovskaya, Konstantin Somov, Savely Sorin, Dmitry Stelletsky, Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, Mark Chagall.
Large-scale international art project "Time and creativity of Lev Bakst," dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the world famous artist Leon Bakst, celebrated under the auspices of UNESCO. The exhibition presents more than 200 works of the master and his contemporaries from the corporate collection BGB, museum collections of Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Russia.
Leon Bakst (1866-1924) - a world-renowned artist of the Silver Age, the founder of "modern" style. Born in 1866 in Grodno (Belarus). He stood at the origins of the legendary artistic association "World of Art". Bakst distinguished himself as an outstanding portraitist, illustrator, stage designer and designer of his era. World famous he got, becoming the main artist of the famous ballet "Russian Seasons" by Sergei Diaghilev in Paris.
