Meet Mike, your new band manager! Mike is a mobile application that will give you the power to take charge of the business aspects of your music career. From goal setting to managing your finances to task and event management, Mike will keep you updated, motivated and in control of your own destiny, leaving you free to create amazing music.

If you are a music artist, in a band, a musician, DJ, or producer, you will love the way Mike helps you to manage the day-to-day aspects of your music career.

The home screen gives you a single-view of the pending tasks you have, upcoming events, goals you have set, and your current balance to give you an overview of how you are managing your finances.

Click on the Finances tab to view an in-depth breakdown of your income and expenses, and to track your balance over time. You can also manage your budget - set your planned spending for categories such as marketing, promotion, PR, studio time, mixing/mastering, distribution, and more, and your planned income for categories such as music sales, royalties, crowdfunding, and merch sales. Monitor how your actual spend is lining up against your planned spend and how your actual income is lining up against your planned income to keep your finances in check.

Click on the goals tab to manage your goals. Set goals such as increasing your Facebook likes, Twitter followers, Mailing List subscribers, Instagram followers, SoundCloud plays, number of gigs, and more. Track your progress against your goals to determine whether you are on track to achieve them.

The schedule tab will enable you to track your events, from gigs to rehearsals and meetings. The calendar view will help you to easily see what's coming up. For each event, keep track of the date, time, location, address, and use the integrated map functionality to find the location at the scheduled time. If you are in a band, you can view the attendance of your band members for certain events to determine who can and can't attend. Whether you're entering one-off gigs and practices or organising a tour, Mike will make managing your various events a breeze!

The tasks tab will enable you to manage your pending tasks to help you to manage your time and workload and get more productive. Get a sense of achievement and stay motivated by crossing out completed tasks and seeing the list of completed tasks stack up!

Subscription details:
The app requires a subscription for the majority of features - managing tasks, events, goals, and finances. Sign up for a subscription within the app. You can choose between an Individual or Band account.

Ratings and reviews

I love this app. I use Mike daily to manage my music business as well as personal daily goals. I have also emailed the app developer about a subscription question and the response was prompt and professional.

You can't do anything without purchasing the subscription. Boooo. However, it's a pretty good set up if you're willing or able to pay for subscription.
