1. OBJECTIVE
The experiment aims to explore the behavior of a cart subjected to uniformly varied rectilinear motion. As part of the activities, you will have to assemble and adjust the equipment and instruments necessary to carry out the experiment, according to the instructions in the appropriate script.
At the end of this experiment, you should be able to:
characterize uniformly varied rectilinear motion (MRUV);
provide the hourly equation of the position and velocity of a mobile in MRUV, based on observations and measurements;
build different graphs involving the main physical variables of the MRUV;
interpret graphs of MRUV variables.
2. WHERE TO USE THESE CONCEPTS?
The concepts covered in this practice are important in the characterization of various rectilinear movements of bodies with constant acceleration, such as the flight of any means of transport.
3. THE EXPERIMENT
In this experiment you will use the inclined plane, where, with the help of the magnet, you will position the cart at a point. The cart will be released and go down the ramp. Using a multichronometer, associated with a photoelectric sensor, measurements will be taken of the intervals in which the furniture travels along the inclined plane.
4. SECURITY
The experiment was designed not to pose any physical risks. Even so, the experiment requires adequate PPE to carry out the activity in the laboratory.
5. SCENARIO
You will find on the bench a bubble level, elevator spindle, inclined plane, cart, magnet, multichronometer and photoelectric sensor.
