The Giant RideControl app opens up the world of connectivity for your Giant E-Bike. The app allows you to connect your phone with your E-Bike, giving you the ability to keep your E-Bike up to date, to customize your motor setting and use your E-Bike display for navigation.

E-Bike customization
The Giant RideControl app lets you customize the motor settings the get the most out of your rides. Match the motor settings to your riding style. You can choose for more power and aggressive performance for a quick blast. Or turn it down a notch to make it more efficient for your long and epic adventures.

Navigation
Use the RideControl app for turn-by-turn navigation specifically designed for the bike. If your E-Bike is equipped with a compatible RideControl EVO display you can synchronize turn by turn navigation to your display, so there is no need to keep your phone at hand.

Record your Rides
Record your rides in detail and share it with your friends. You can choose to synchronize all rides with Strava or manually upload to social media.

Ratings and reviews

App hasn't worked for at least 6 months. Even after most recent update does not work. Now requires login to do anything and it won't login. Opens web page in chrome browser, enter credentials, says sign in successfull, then goes back to the login screen in the app. Completely unusable now. I will never buy anything from Giant ever again. This bike has been nothing but problems. It tells you something about a company with so many bad reviews and no updates

I'm reading some of the reviews, some problems the users had, I had no problem using the app. it gives you all the information you need. It might be different bike to bike, but I have a Momentum Transend E+ and app works absolutely fine. The only option that is not perfect and might need improvement is the "Ride" option, the GPS, it's a bit slow on speed I guess. Battery percentage shown on app is a great feature. The best thing you can check through the app is current mileage and battery health

This is a terrible app. Locks you out everytime there is an update. I don't want to update just as I'm about to bike to work, I just want it to work until I have time to update. The controls are poorly labeled and don't seem to always respond consistently. It would be nice to have a dashboard with power mode selection, battery %, % est in modes, mph, distance and maybe the option to add or subtract other info. I know there are multiple screens but they seem poorly thought out.

This update lets you unpair Tire Checker, navigate to a selected Komoot route when it is far away, and configure the RideDash EVO 3 navigation page in the app.
It also adds SRAM eShift pairing support for SyncDrive Sport2 and SyncDrive Sport 3, improves compatibility with SHIMANO eShift, SyncDrive Core 3, and SyncDrive Move S, enhances store search when uploading purchase certificate, and updates support for Android 7.0 to 16.
Fixed SyncDrive Sport2 tuning issue.
