Welcome to Taskumetsä! Step into the forest and get ready for an educational forest adventure. Create your own character, explore the forest identifying species and collecting resources, build your own cabin. Complete forest-themed quests while learning about nature and biodiversity. Discover your own forest, its inhabitants, plants and animals, and uncover the secrets of the Taskumetsä. Join the adventure!

Taskumetsä game features:
Taskumetsä combines a virtual game forest and a real forest into one forest adventure.

The virtual forest:
Adventure through the forest by completing quests, getting to know the inhabitants of your forest and playing forest-themed mini-games such as forest quiz. Collect resources and build your own cabin, sauna, outdoor toilet and plantations. Customise your own character to make it completely unique.

A real forest:
Pocket Forest uses species recognition powered by AI and machine vision as one of its gameplay mechanics. Identify species from the real forest by photographing them and connect them to your own virtual forest. Expand your forest with new species and collect all the species cards.

Taskumetsä is still in beta and the game is still under development. There will be additions, fixes and changes to the game as updates are made.

The Taskumetsä project has been supported by the Finnish Forest Foundation and the Metsämiesten Säätiö Foundation.

Taskumetsä is a completely free mobile game and it does not contain any in-game purchases or advertisements, nor will they be added to the game in the future.
