Ratings and reviews

There are still some elements to iron out, but for a single dev app, AltLife is well on its way to be a strong competitor to BitLife. I enjoy the details of skills, jobs, and relationships. The smart phone aspect makes it feel so real. I haven't made it through one entire life yet but I can't wait to see what else this app has in store! It didn't take me long to (one time!) purchase this. Thanks, Mark!

Looks cute but bombards us with ads. You really can't get very far without getting interrupted with ads. Ads should be opted for to get bonuses, but they're really poorly timed so they just feel annoying and drive users away. To the devs: let users get invested before you try to monetize them, else you'll just have a high bounce rate and that early monetization doesn't pay.

It's a good start to the game and concept. One thing I would like to see, and it may be in the premium package, would be quick relationship management. having to individually go into each character linked to your person is tedious. It would be great to have a catch all, like bitlife has, and then be able to go into the specific characters you want to deal with, to add bonuses too.
