About this game

Created to enable players to use their preferred controls on Android, Sudoku Monsters is designed to be played with one of the following input methods: touch, a mouse cursor, switch access, a game controller or a keyboard. The app opens in landscape mode only.

Fill up the grid with monsters, placing one of each in each quarter of the board and in row or column. You can’t use the same monster twice in a line or in each quarter.

To play, select an empty space on the grid to open the monster window, then select the monster you want to place in that spot.

Each of the six levels within the four worlds will start with a different layout of starting monsters to work around. See how many boards you can complete!

In the gameplay settings, you can choose between ‘Precise’ or ‘Classic’ control modes. In Precise mode, you directly select the blank square that you want to place a monster into before selecting the monster from the options on the right. With Classic mode, you first select the quadrant that the square is within. Then select the square itself within the magnified quadrant on the right of the screen. Finally, select the monster.

TOUCH - A single tap on the onscreen targets activates them. No swiping or holds are required.

OUSE CURSOR - Using a single left click on the onscreen targets activates them. No drags or holds are required. The Auto-Click option in Android is also compatible with the game.

SUPPORTED INPUT METHODS:

SWITCH ACESS - To scan through the onscreen targets using a switch, the use of the Google Switch Access app and a compatible switch interface or device is required.

KEYBOARD -The Arrow keys navigate and highlight the onscreen targets and the Enter key is used to select one, when highlighted.

GAME CONTROLLER - Using an Android compatible controller, the Left Stick, Right Stick or D-Pad is used to navigate the onscreen targets. Any of the face buttons or triggers on your compatible controller can be used to select one, when highlighted.
