SCAN QR CODES AND BARCODES
Hold your phone over any code and the scanner reads it automatically — QR codes plus EAN-13, UPC-A, EAN-8 and Code 128 barcodes. It works in low light with the built-in flashlight, and you can scan a QR code straight from a photo in your gallery.

I want to give this app a high score, I really do, but either Im doing something wrong or there are two major issues: Firstly, when you create, for example, a text QR, the phone's keyboard covers the "generate" button, and without cutting and pasting the text, there's no way to get at the button. Also on the "scan" feature, there's no apparent way to make it work. I've tried every orientation and direction, but no combination will read a bar code. Am I missing something?

Brilliantly easy to generate and share QR codes. I haven't used the reader function in a while but I remember it working perfectly. The ability to generate QR codes whenever I require has helped keeping track of passwords as they change regularly and I can pick more long and convoluted passwords as I can scan the QR code.

just on the composing side: it creates contacts without names; it does not allow me to create QRcodes from my contacts; it uses odd terminology (e.g. "contact" for just a phone number). I appreciate the app, but I want to take advantage of all that QRcodes can do
