Availability: Powershop does not guarantee that the operation of the Powershop mobile app will be continuous. We do not accept any liability or responsibility whatsoever if Powershop’s mobile app is not available over any period or at any particular time.

IP and copyright: Powershop owns or has permission to use all copyright in Powershop’s mobile app and all its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, graphic images, logos, button icons, images, photographs, video and audio clips, software, concepts, systems and compilations (meaning the collection, arrangement and assembly of material).
Some of the material included in Powershop’s mobile app and in which intellectual property rights exist, including POWERSHOP and/or other brands and/or trade marks (whether registered or otherwise), is the sole and exclusive property of Powershop or its related companies or its’ suppliers. The owners of all other material or intellectual property included in Powershop’s mobile app in which intellectual property rights exist consent to or allow the use of the material or intellectual property for the purpose of your use of Powershop’s mobile app. However, that material or intellectual property may not be reproduced or used by you in any other manner whatsoever.

Security: Powershop’s mobile app requires you to use your account password. You are responsible for keeping that password safe and secure to prevent any unauthorised use of, and access to, your account and the electricity supply to the properties covered by Powershop’s mobile app.


Changes to mobile app terms and conditions: By clicking “Install” you agree that Powershop can change the terms and conditions that apply to the Powershop mobile app by Powershop giving 30 days written notice by email and by placing a banner on our website.

== Explanation of permissions required for the Powershop App ==
* Storage - modify or delete the contents of your USB storage: Cache certain images to load them faster for you.
* Camera - take pictures and videos: Required for you to turn the flashlight on and off while inputting meter readings on devices with a camera flash.
* Your social information - read your contacts: You can use your contacts to refer to Powershop through the Friend get friend promotion. The App will only ever access your contacts if you choose to use them for the Friend get friend promotion.

Ratings and reviews

ridiculous interface on the app. the circles are confusing and it's impossible to understand usage. the fact you cant even see daily usage is just criminal. why would you not want customers to understand their usage? also switching to a smart meter costs money despite the ad saying free installation. no consultation about costs just hit with it on the bill like everything else!

the app just keeps perpetually loading and doesnt show anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but this hasnt fixed the problem.

Decent app. However can't use the app anymore since I moved my power even though I still have an active gas account.
