You can't add transactions without assigning invoices and you can't add an invoice without assigning a contact, and you can't just type a contact name, you have to search the database of previously made contacts. This kind of user-unfriendly interaction plagues this app.

Adding a Contact means that you can add subsequent Invoices to that Contacts with a few clicks. You will find that most accounting products work in this way. If you are trying just to record Daily Takings but you don't need to record the Actual Customer, please use CASH SALES with a default 'No Customer' setting.

Sorry you found it difficult to use. Have you tried viewing the Support Videos on our website. There is a short video covering every aspect of our product.
