Chief Emoji Officer is a narrative game where you become CEO using only emojis... without getting fired along the way.

You're a new hire to Redify, a startup that loves changing the world! It's up to you to turn the company around and climb to the executive level by making decisions for the company. Work with a variety of unique co-workers and respond to their messages to navigate corporate politics in this unique twist on a text adventure.

Bodeville is a small team of two developers who wanted to make games that are fun, fair, and might tell a good story. Our founders Alexia Mandeville and Bo Boghosian have years of experience working in the game industry on projects including Pokémon GO, Peridot, and Facebook Horizon.

Ratings and reviews

Chief Emoji Officer is a unique game where you navigate the corporate tech ladder using emojis to express approval or disapproval. Although short-lived (1 hour), I enjoyed the experience. However, there are navigation and level revision issues that need addressing. The game lacks streamlined processes, hindering its potential. It would have been better if it were longer, allowing for more developed character backstories and relationships.

Really funny and pretty much spot on if you're familiar with the tech industry and start-ups. I really enjoyed the memorable set of characters how well-written everything is. Pretty short but the funniest game I've played in a while!

Totally enjoying this game. A new genre of storytelling that is hilarious and captivating! Great entertainment value!
