Ratings and reviews

Definitely the best place to play bridge online, but BridgeBase could really use some remediation. The app logs out every time it is not visible, which is quite annoying. The app also freezes sometimes. The website is a processor hog for no apparent reason. Sometimes when you open the app, it will auto-open an ad link, often with malicious cookies.

Fantastic. So many choices, much of which is free. Very easy to use. Great learning tool. As a beginner, I can't speak to the skill of the AI. There are plenty of options to play vs humans as well -- whose skill is equally unknown. The app and the website -- absolutely indespensible. Also, though there are ads, they are small and completely unobtrusive. There is a trend to make apps with horrific ads forcing you hunt for the spot to dismiss after 30 seconds or more -- BBO does NOT do this.

Used to be the premier site for playing bridge but has been vastly outpaced by several competitors. The app has highly intrusive ads during solitaire and when leaving vugraph tables. The ads are sometimes straight up malware. Some of them are impossible to click through without closing the app. BBO's support staff is also much worse than it used to be. Stick to RealBridge, LoveBridge or Fun Bridge.
