About this app

Your phone already has a serious camera. The stock app hides it behind beauty filters, extra sharpening, and HDR the sensor never asked for.

F64 is a manual RAW camera for Android. It talks to the hardware through Camera2 so you get the sensor — RAW DNG files, real manual exposure, and cinema-style video — not a processed preview.

PHOTOS
• RAW DNG capture from the sensor when your phone supports it
• DNG, DNG+JPEG, or JPEG per shot
• Full-sensor 4:3 or 16:9 framing, labelled with the real resolution
• Phones without RAW fall back to a low-processing JPEG (noise reduction and edge enhancement off)

VIDEO
• The same ISO, shutter, focus, and white balance you set for stills
• Cinema profiles: standard SDR, HLG HDR, and an S-Log3-style log curve (where the hardware allows)
• Frame rates: 24 / 25 / 30 / 60 fps or Auto — the REC bar shows the rate actually used
• Hardware HEVC when available, H.264 fallback
• Built for Android phones, not only Pixel and Samsung

CONTROLS
• Manual ISO and shutter speed
• Tap-to-focus or full manual focus
• White balance presets plus a Kelvin slider
• Flash, torch, grid, front and back cameras, zoom dial

SMART AUTO
In auto mode F64 meters the scene and keeps the shutter inside a gyro-measured blur budget — sharp handheld shots, grain instead of smear in the dark. No beauty filter. No extra sharpening.

GALLERY
In-app gallery with DNG previews and video playback. Files stay on your device (DCIM/F64 and Movies/F64). No account required.

WHO IT'S FOR
Photographers who want a DNG camera on Android. Filmmakers who need log or HLG video on a phone that is not a Pixel. Anyone done with beauty-mode JPEGs.

F64 sits with apps like Camera FV-5, Open Camera, and Blackmagic Camera: manual control and clean files, not filters. Blackmagic Camera is Pixel and Samsung; F64 is built for the rest of Android too.

F64 is free. The gallery may show ads.

Requires Android 10 or newer. RAW DNG, 10-bit HLG, and log video depend on what your camera and encoder actually support — the app probes the hardware and degrades instead of crashing.

What’s new

F64 1.0.2

• New frame-rate picker: record video at 24 / 25 / 30 / 60 fps or AUTO. The REC bar always shows the rate actually used.
• Auto night shots are 3–5× cleaner — exposure is solved from measured shake and light.
• FULL video fixed: records the full field of view and saves reliably.
• 16:9 video records at the largest size the encoder, not a 1080p cap.
• Framing menu now lists only real recording sizes, labelled exactly.
