Energy Ring - Camera Notch & Battery Indicator

Energy Ring : Energy Notch app more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently. Energy Ring sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring. Once awake, Energy Ring quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. Android requires Energy Ring to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.

Battery Ring can check battery status on the top of screen like screenshots. When there is a new notification when the screen is off, the breathing light flashes after 5 seconds. Double-click to turn on the screen. And to be that extra efficient, the Ring goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.

This WAS a really cool app until a recent update. Now set-up is really finicky, requiring a lot of trial and error to get the ring centered properly. Really disappointing though is that the "rainbow" effect on the ring is gone, replaced by being able to choose from only 2 colors to be displayed (with no gradient option any longer) on the ring. Finally, ads seem to be more intrusive than in the past.

EDIT: Quits randomly, won't stay on without app open in fore. ◇ Original review: Does what it says. I tried several apps and this one actually has some good customizable features. I'm able to put it where I want it and size it to fit. My only question is my '0%' position isn't at the top, seems like the 6:00 position, which isn't typical. A setting for the preferred starting position or rotation might be good. The only other thing I can think of to add the ability to use a custom gradient.

Well I don't know about the other comments, but works like a charm in my phone!! I have also monitored its battery usage and am sure it doesn't have any significant effect on it. And for the ads, I haven't allowed internet access to the app... Great job devlepers. SUGGESTIONS: 1:Please add custom persentage group to assign colours. 2:Add option to curve the end points.
