DeckForge turns your phone into a Magic: The Gathering card scanner and collection tracker. Point the camera at an MTG card and DeckForge names the exact printing, shows what it is worth right now, and files it into your collection — no typing, no searching.

This app is beyond cool . The scanner alone is worth its value and then the live updates on value as well as being able to help create my decks. This is soooo cool!!

I've been using DeckForge for a few weeks now. The scanning is fast: I hold a card under the camera and it's recognised before I've finished moving it, so I got through a whole box in one sitting instead of typing cards in. My favourite part is the deck building. I pick a commander and it shows me which cards I already own and what I'd still need, which has saved me buying cards twice. Prices update on their own too. Easy to recommend to anyone with a pile of Magic cards.

Scans cards so fast! Holy cow, I would struggle to get through a stack of cards with another big name app and this one scans them no problem. Makes things so much easier. I like being able to see price trends too. I have only made two decks so far, but both playtested really well.

What’s new

Sell lists: pick the cards you want to sell, see what Card Kingdom pays today, and they are tagged for sale in your collection and decks until the sale is done. The sale itself finishes on the website. Prices: every shop's figures side by side on the card page, with Card Kingdom's buylist. Scanner: the phone stays awake while scanning, stacked rows ask which set, and Setup says what is not filed yet. Terms of Use in the app. Plus fixes and polish.
