About this app

The Virtual Keypad™ App gives you control of your security system on-the-go. Connect to your home or business system to arm or disarm, control lights, locks, thermostats and more, easily with your app. Even view and record video from your security cameras.

With the Virtual Keypad App, you can:

Ratings and reviews

The app is great 75% of the time. There have always been some bugs(since I've used it ), mostly with wifi connection issues, but those are pretty negligible. However, the past month or so(October-November 2024), the app has froze or crashed at least once a week. Closing/restarting the app does not fix it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, and still, it's crashed. I've found that if I close the app and wait a few hours and reopen the app, it works just fine.

The keypad is nice, but heaven help you if you need to use it to connect to a wifi and type in a password - it's a humbling experience! In addition to improving the keypad user friendliness, I wish the system worked with Google Home (and other apps such as Ring), such that it could be armed, etc., using voice commands.

14Sept2024- still disappointing. 3+yrs later, the wait time for this app to load is more than a minute. Developer has no idea how to diagnose the problem or fix it, and seems to be waiting for the user to diagnose the problem. This app is my biggest security risk. 0-star. 02May2022 - App performance continues to disappoint (11Jul2022). It's still slow to load and I can't use the doorbell vid or arm/disarm in a hurry. Viewing videos is a hit-or-miss event and the app dies for no reason.
