This is the latest version of the official app to manage the amazing LightwaveRF Smart Home Platform with your Android smartphone or tablet.*

This new release includes changes to connect to the updated LightwaveRF systems, which allow more devices and more rooms with lots of additional improvements coming in the near future!

The LightwaveRF Smart Home Platform allows you to monitor and control lighting, power and heating whether you are in the home, or out and about, using a smart-phone, tablet or PC. The product range consists of attractive and affordable dimmer switches, power sockets and thermostatic radiator valves, plus a large range of other innovative products, some of which are simple plug ‘n’ play and others that can be easily retrofitted by any competent DIYer. All devices communicate wirelessly eliminating the need for any additional wiring.

The LightwaveRF Smart Home app allows you to:

Ratings and reviews

This is ok when it works for a month or two. When you want to use it it is logged out again. Twice it has just removed all devices and rooms etc so you have to pair from scratch. totally frustrating . Recently removed events. this is not what you expect from a cloud based app. After two weeks of successfull use it has logged us out and reverted to and old profile like it has been restored from backup. We now have devices switched on that we can not now switch off.

This is probably the worst and most frustrating app I have ever tested on my phone. I simply don't know where to start. Interface is unprofessional and unintuitive, performance slow and unstable. But worst of all, I simply can't pair up my dimmers with the system. After several hours of trying and multiple failed attempts, the system managed to correctly assign maybe 30% of my light circuits, with the rest it's just not capable of doing it right. Avoid this system and the app!

It died. 3 weeks short of 6 years. I am not sure why but the broadband speed dropped from 20mbs to 4 at the same time. Maybe something happened on the network and killed it. I now have a Lightwave Link Plus to replace it. It took a couple of hours to get used to the new app. The response from lights and sockets (all old version) seems more crisp and reliable.
