DOWAY is an app that combines the capabilities of storing, editing, transcribing, viewing, and converting voice to text, as well as adding tags and editing them. Combined with the latest features of artificial intelligence, the process of converting natural speech to text is greatly enhanced, resulting in increased daily work efficiency.

way too many accidental recordings that are hard to delete. can't empty the trash. The GUI is dated with little thought put into this app. there's very little device control. The accidental recordings are maddening. Considering it advertised, it didn't have as many as other devices. Even though you select English and wants to do everything in Chinese and trying to change transcriptions back from Chinese to English is almost impossible their programmer did a bad job on this app

I just bought the device. I've recorded a couple things. I downloaded the app, and now have uninstalled and tried again. I can't get past the registration because after I enter the code that it sends the activation button does not work. I've tried multiple times in multiple ways. I'm very bummed and hope I don't have to sent it back because an activation button won't work.

The UI is ok, however the transcript and summary feature are incredibly slow, regardless of the LLM model you choose for your templates. Also the desktop sync with the web app is terrible, the web dashboard doesn't show the transcripts correctly and there is no way to reach customer support neither on the android app or the web app. Despite all of this, the Nanorec device is pretty good on terms of hardware and records audio very neatly.
