About this app

EKR is a radio network which is passionately dedicated to rock music. You can listen live for free to any of our network streams through this EKR gateway application. More than just a basic player, this application displays tracks and/or shows that are "now playing" together with artwork and links to buy songs on the iTunes store.

Our latest selection of channels (EUROPEAN KLASSIK ROCK, NOW ZONE, RETRO ROCK, OLDIES PARADISE, and EASY ROCK PARADISE and EAST KENT RADIO) are all available to listen to on this current release of the application. Drawing on a vast database of over 100,000 titles that include classic, current and unsigned artists we are pushing the boundaries of radio to a new, fresh and inspirational level.

Our stream bit rates are designed to suit most connection situations from mobile phones (even with a weak signal) to super fast fibre optic broadband.

All of our channels have an option to listen in "better than DAB" quality, offering studio HiFi quality at 320kbs MP3.

I have just downloaded the app, and the sound quality in my car is amazing! The choice of music is also excellent. However, I'm trying to stream it on my home audio system ( which is a bit basic ) and on my Sonos and, so far, I can't connect. I have sent an email to the developer.

Best station for classic rock. Been using it for years on my pc, now listening to it on my mobile phone. Awesome.

The best station and now the app is back working on all my android devices. So glad the app was fixed. Brilliant
