So far, 1 day in, it does absolutely everything we wanted. Connects easily. Allows my husband to feel like he is with the family & act like a cute little robot that follows us around. He can talk to us through the mic & hear us through the speaker. Visual is great. He has to toggle the speaker & mic so the feedback doesn't mix but that's not too hard, especially in full-screen mode, which seems easier to drive in. Yes, turning is a little finicky but not a deal breaker & easier with practice.

The app does what it needs: control the robot, take pictures, etc. I suppose the fancier robots have automatic notifications; that's fine at this price point. What would be nice if there were shortcuts to take photos/video under the Remote tab, rather than have to switch tabs. Also, it would be nice if there was a battery indicator on the app; if there was one, I couldn't find it.

One of three cats are interested. The driving is tough, although it is much improved from a year ago. It'd be nice to be able to drive Ebo somewhere and start an automatic play session. When running a scheduled playtime, it's too easy to interrupt it. It's a real shame Ebo can only be connected to one device at a time. Ebo itself has trouble transitioning across thresholds, moving from a hardwood to thick rug doesn't seem possible. Got some real cute pics and videos of the cats.
