Here he gives advice for day to day life,
on love and friendship, his knowledge of spells, his
experiences, and much more! Much of this wisdom
is apliccable even today.

Odin was the God of Wisdom, and went out of his
way to attain it, even sacrificing himself
to himself, and offering his eye to drink from
the Well of Knowledge.

Havamal, including the origininal.

Icelandic to English mix up. I noticed while reading later on, that some of the translations are in the wrong spot when using the compare feature. The english translation for 108 actually belongs with 110 Icelandic. I noticed this around 80 or so, but this was the first one I was able to find the coresponding translation. What tipped me off was the word tryggđum meaning secured or bond, which has nothing to do with the english of 110, but does with 108 in reference to one's troth.
