The Baby is a geolocated art installation of Sound Art and 3D Digital Animation in Augmented Reality (AR) that can be seen on a smart phone or tablet. The installation will be visible only in the places where it is geolocated. The list of these places will be made known from time to time in the app and will be updated during the year.
The Baby is a sound art and 3D digital animation piece where a sapiens baby is beautifully depicted by the imagery of the plastic toy dolls from the 1970s and 1980s.
The tiny Sapiens boy is amused as he observes explosives bursting around
him, creating fountains of gold money, and dropping from the sky. The
child chuckles, oblivious to the carpet of mangled cries of pain and
despair beneath him, at each explosion because he is so absorbed in his
own wonder.
The Sapiens infant is a representation of the early stages of human evolution; it is a rudimentary representation that does not yet have any characteristics that would link it to gender or sexuality. It is still the Sapiens, unadulterated and undeveloped, as created by the DNA boot program.
The Astronut
Place and date of birth unknown as well as gender, The Astronaut explores the variable existing relationship between the concept of codes and the concept of soul, like the DNA representing the string of source code from which humanity is elaborated and the soul that lives in every single existance. In the absence of a generated identity, the Astronaut artist uses the abstraction of humanizing traits to become an emblem of its own notions. These concepts are represented utilizing many types of digital media, such as immersive spatial audio and video installations, NFTs, VR, and AR installations.

Filippo Gregoretti
Filippo is a pioneer in the combination of technology, visual arts, performance, music, and storytelling. He is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on algorithms, as well as a pianist, composer, developer, and fine artist. He invented the concept of "app artwork" and released the first ever works of art that were made into applications and distributed in the official stores. His works of art incorporate his own original artistic artificial intelligence algorithms and encompass physical installations, live performances, music, and visuals. As a professor at Naples’ Suor Orsola Benincasa University, his lectures include “authorship and technology for digital experiences” and “transmedia creativity and production."
