Message Approval: An optional setting for each chat that, if enabled, requires messages to be approved by chat admins (Default is off)
Highlight Approval: An optional setting for each event that, if selected, requires highlights to be approved by event hosts (Default is off)
Event Privacy: All events are private and cannot be searched in the app. Guests are either directly invited by a host or are added to the event after requesting to join.
Group Privacy: All groups are private and cannot be searched in the app. Members are either added by an admin or are approved after requesting to join.
Group Connections: Groups can establish connections with other groups on the app allowing them to easily invite each other to events.

Aggravatingly slow, notifications come in and then I have to wait 30 seconds to a minute for the message to come up. When clicking on photos and videos it will always send me to a random photo roughly the first 6 times before showing me the one that was actually sent, sometimes messages just show up in notifications and never show up in chat. edit: the hot fix appears to have fixed my issues for the time being and I really like the app when things are going smoothly

Previously had an issue that was stumping me but the developer was quick to respond on more than one medium and help me solve it. 1 to 5 starts for that

Hi, have you tried scanning with the QR camera at the top-right of the Chats page? Using your phone’s own camera and also enabling VPN might not work. Another way to join is to have a group admin manually add you. If it’s still giving you trouble, we’d be happy to help. Message us through the in-app chat support or email support@theflareapp.com.

Why do you have to use your Google, Facebook account or Microsoft to log in? Why can't I create a login name and password?

We understand that some prefer a standard login & password. Right now, most find 3rd-party logins more convenient since they avoid managing another password.
