About this app

Read anything faster.

FlowRead is an offline speed-reading app for people who read PDFs, documents, articles, notes, scans, and long text on their phone.

Open a PDF or paste text, choose a reading mode, and turn long reading into a focused flow.

FlowRead is built for readers who want to finish more of what they save, without accounts, ads, tracking, or cloud uploads.

What you can do with FlowRead:

• Read PDFs with all 4 reading modes
• Paste any text and start reading instantly
• Jump from a PDF page into speed reading
• Jump back to the original PDF page when needed
• Use RSVP, Chunk, Focus, or Scroll mode
• Keep reading progress saved locally
• Read offline with no account and no cloud processing

Reading modes:

• RSVP
Read one word at a time in a fixed focus position.

• Chunk
Read multiple words at once for a smoother fast-reading rhythm.

• Focus
Read full-page text with guided word focus.

• Scroll
Use a smooth speed-scroll mode for long text.

PDF reading built for context:

FlowRead is not just a text extractor. You can start reading from any PDF page, move into a reading mode, and jump back to the original PDF when you need context.

When a PDF contains images or tables, FlowRead can show tappable placeholders so you can return to the original page and view what you missed.

Pro features:

• DOCX import
• TXT import
• URL reader
• Share articles into FlowRead
• Offline dictionary
• Dashboard and reading stats

OCR Vision:

OCR Vision is a separate add-on for Pro users. It helps convert scanned PDFs and images into readable text on-device.

Privacy-first by design:

• No account
• No cloud uploads for files
• No ads
• No tracking
• Files stay on your device

FlowRead is useful for:

• Students
• Researchers
• Professionals
• Self-learners
• Anyone with too many PDFs, articles, notes, or documents to read

If you want a calmer, faster way to read on your phone, FlowRead is built for you.

What’s new

• Updated FlowRead for Android 16.
• Rebuilt the in-app purchase system on Google's current billing library. Existing Pro and OCR Vision purchases carry over — nothing to re-buy.
• Under-the-hood maintenance across the app.
