Edit: got it working on my new phone but took a lot of settings changes. I used this app for more than 5 years, but every time I came back to it, there were more changes and a lower star rating. It still kind of works on my old phone, but my newer one, the audio coming out, is like robotic ants. Staticey, quiet, and chirpy. What's heard is almost not recognizable as English. I tested other apps and different audio recorders, and only this one has unusable audio.

tells me usage without headset is not advised. but doesn't not let me continue. you should really look at a dictionary about what "not advised" means. that implies I can still do it after your warning, yet you won't let me proceed. you should change your warning message to "not allowed" since in effect, you will not let me continue.

The app is great with cool features but my phone gets really hot when I use it. I use 32KHz stereo audio.
