It's very close. Dropped a star for ... Hard to use with a purchased paper passport as you can only mark a location as "checked in" not as "purchased" or "redeemed". I understand the digital passport is the real intent of the app--and that is fine with me. But using the app to augment the paper passport would be very helpful. The 'filtering' only works in the nearby search tray, not in the map view, so your map will always have all locations viewable. Would be nice to have the map legend (which is sort of slow to close) be able to enable/disable locaitons. The Nearby try cannot be completely hidden/closed. So, you see your closest brewery all the time when you use the app at home to plan an adventure. Would much prefer to have that slid closed by default and open it when I am out and about and need to search. Dropped another star for privacy issues ... Not sure why microphone access is needed for the "Hop Lens" feature ... or why your full address and phone number are needed to sign up.

MI paper book,second year. I've enjoyed the local challenge. Whenever I email, I get responses in 24 hours. But it would be nice if the app had more features for the paper book user. Like lists of checked in with dates. I'll be revisiting a few this year, but app doesn't have 2nd year check-in.

Great app needs some additional features. Should allow you to put in a request to change a site's amenities. For example, I went to a location that said "completely dog friendly" but then only allowed them on the patio. Because this is an option for them to select on the passport, it was very frustrating.
