About this app

Operation Pavitra is an initiative by Bhopal City Police to bring technology in policing.

The application is specifically built for the Bhopal City Police. Using the app, officials can view and update records of criminals. The app requires a simple username and password in order to log in. These credentials are provided by admin to ensure the app is only used by police officials.

Users can choose the police station, booth and crime to find the details of the criminal they are looking for. Further, the information displayed has a list of criminals at that police station and booth with the particular crime entered along with their photos, crime number as well as their name.

It also has more information about the criminals like their father's name, age, address, punishment, booth number, village street name and code, crime date, section under which it falls, and their aadhar card number as well.

The information can be viewed by any of the police officials who are relevant. However, it can only be updated by a particular authority who is overlooking the criminal or the crime. The updating would include a date, by which the viewers would know when the criminal was last checked upon.

It would also include the name of the authority who updated the status so that the users can see who checked upon the criminal as well.
