TORN - Worlds largest text-based RPG.

You are now entering Torn City; a dark and dirty metropolis inhabited by two million real people involved in virtual crime, conquest, commerce and more. In this open-world, text-based role-playing crime game you can be whoever you want, be it Bully, Businessman or Barbarian, so long as you’ve got the brains and bullets to back it up.

One of my favorite games of all time. Didn't think I'd like a text based RPG, but here I am. The amount of learning necessary makes each win very rewarding. There isn't one way to play, which I also find very cool. For example: You could spend your time traveling to buy items to trade, or you could be a chronic travel mugger. You could also not travel at all. This isn't a game where you need to be jobless IRL to level up. Wish I was born earlier so I could've discovered this sooner.

I tried this game on a whim, after having played a few similar games, and I'm glad that I did. It can be a little confusing, and kind of boring, when you start out. Keep training your skills in the gym, they'll increase your successes on crimes. As you level, you'll get more nerve and more energy, allowing you to do more things. a very large and helpful community is out there, and there is also a new player channel in the app, at the bottom of your screen.

I did not expect to love this game so much. 5 days in and still can't put it down lol. I love that the game is in real time, and the waiting is real, but somehow there's just enough side hustles that you always have something to do. Always finding new strategies to progress. Some complain about not being able to store money until you buy a mansion, but I get it. Worrying about getting mugged becomes a real fear and you find ways to hide money other ways. Love it!
