No significant change over version 2, not worth the investment, unfortunate that it's the only one available. If you lose version 2., you have to buy version 3 as version 2 is no longer available. Same thing they did with the original version, which by the way, still had more function than either version 2 or 3. They never really fix anything with this remote app. It brings JRiver value down overall, as one of the major reasons many of us use it is because of the remote capability.

I am sitting in my office at work streaming a 1000+ song playlist from a library created, stored, and maintained at my home. My phone is connected via Bluetooth to a Tivoli music system, which sounds great. With this app, I can "take" my music anywhere I go (including here at work) that has a decent connection. I'm not sure how it gets any better than this.

Updated review. Well these guys worked quickly! The long playlist support has resolved all previous issues I may have had with this new version of the app. I am, and remain, impressed by the ease of use and the functionality of this app. I've been a Jriver fan for many years and this app allows me to take me entire media collection with me everywhere I go. Audio quality is outstanding, and the support for lossless audio formats is unrivalled. If you've never tried Jriver, now you should.
