This app is from my local news station and I really just use it for the hurricane tracking, but it has a whole slew of other useful features. I love that it gives me notifications anytime there's a change. It is also incredibly easy to use and is a lot easier to read and interact with than a lot of other hurricane trackers I have used and I have used a ton! UPDATE: still using it every year!

I religiously use this app every year to keep track of storms and hurricanes. Previous versions, at least last years version was almost perfect for letting you view potential storms coming off of Africa, monitoring progression through the Atlantic for progressing to tropical storms or hurricanes. The new globe view for potential storms is cool but, previous versions allowed you to scan the Atlantic and zoom in on highlighted potential storms. I have been using this app for years and love it, especially when trying to get local information. However, I am not a fan of the new update, the 3D model is more difficult to see. I prefer the old one when looking at the tropics watch.
