This card can be issued nationwide starting in May 2024, and if you use public transportation (city buses, subways, metropolitan buses, private railways, etc.) more than 15 times a month, you can receive a portion of the amount spent the next month. The refund rate is 20% for the general public, 30% for young people, and 53% for low-income people.
In other words, the K-Pass card is intended for adults and teenagers living across the country who use public transportation more than 15 times a month. Existing economical transportation card holders can apply for conversion on the card company website starting in May 2024, and new issuance will begin at the same time.
▶ What is Incheon I-Pass?
This is a transportation pass that provides benefits to Incheon residents. You may be eligible for a refund based on the amount you spent on transportation expenses.
▶ What is The Gyeonggi Pass?
- This is a system that will be implemented from May of this year and will help reduce transportation costs for Gyeonggi residents.
▶ What is the difference from the economical transportation card?
The economical transportation card is scheduled to be expanded and reorganized into the K Pass. Therefore, please note that the economical transportation card will end when the K Pass is introduced.
