About this app

The SilverCloud location management software app will allow owners and users of the SilverCloud and SilverCloud Sync real-time GPS tracking systems, the ability to view and monitor the precise location of their assets or vehicles, whether it's a single vehicle or an entire fleet of vehicles, from anywhere conveniently from their phone.
Users will be able to monitor the speed of each vehicle and the battery life of each device simply by tapping on the vehicle icon located on the map - accurate to within 2.5 meters (6 feet) of the device. The location also updates automatically, showing the real-time GPS location of the user's vehicles.
Vehicle updates will be based on user's data plan - 3 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, or as fast as 3 second continuous updates.
Since the SilverCloud software utilizes Maps, users will have the option of viewing the map in Standard View, Satellite View or a Hybrid of both.

Ratings and reviews

I bought this tracker to put in my son's bookbag, and overall, I'm loving it. I know this tracker is made to track a car, but I'll review it for what I'm using it for- Pros: tracks via satellite, tells you how fast they are moving, route history, lights off mode, doesn't make a noise, long battery life. Cons: Subscription can be pricey, especially if you're only using it to track something once it's lost. It's too big/heavy for my son to wear. If they made a smaller one, it'd be 5 stars!

Some what disappointed!. Accuracy is only within 500 feet. That is terrible for an asset tracking device. that you pay $20 a month for. the tracking also fails to follow the asset (actual travel route) it does point A to B, etc, as the crow flies. I have many older devices that show speed direction, exact routes, stops, etc, and accuracy within 50 feet or less. I'll be shopping for a different device.

definitely not worth the price. I had multiple devices on the 3 second plan and they did not update as it should at all. customer service just says to do a hard reset on the device because it relies on "cell service" they have no control over. I live in a decent size city, my cell phone has no issues, its placed in a position recommended by support. dont waste your money, shop around and find something that'll work. mine worked half the time, customer service won't reimburse you for issues.
