About this app

The SilverCloud location management software app will allow owners and users of the SilverCloud and SilverCloud Sync real-time GPS tracking systems, the ability to view and monitor the precise location of their assets or vehicles, whether it's a single vehicle or an entire fleet of vehicles, from anywhere conveniently from their phone.
Users will be able to monitor the speed of each vehicle and the battery life of each device simply by tapping on the vehicle icon located on the map - accurate to within 2.5 meters (6 feet) of the device. The location also updates automatically, showing the real-time GPS location of the user's vehicles.
Vehicle updates will be based on user's data plan - 3 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, or as fast as 3 second continuous updates.
Since the SilverCloud software utilizes Maps, users will have the option of viewing the map in Standard View, Satellite View or a Hybrid of both.

Ratings and reviews

I bought this tracker to put in my son's bookbag, and overall, I'm loving it. I know this tracker is made to track a car, but I'll review it for what I'm using it for- Pros: tracks via satellite, tells you how fast they are moving, route history, lights off mode, doesn't make a noise, long battery life. Cons: Subscription can be pricey, especially if you're only using it to track something once it's lost. It's too big/heavy for my son to wear. If they made a smaller one, it'd be 5 stars!

This device requires you to have to PLAY BACK HISTORY in order to see where the vehicle has been and then PAUSE IT at any STOP that you want to see the address at, this can be inconvenient as that it doesn't give you a REPORT LOG RECORD OF ALL THE DESTINATIONS AND TIME FRAMES IT HAS TRAVELED TO like other tracking devices. The battery DOES last longer than some other devices and that's the only PLUS I would give it.

The app was a little glitchy but one call to tech support and they reset it so everything seems to be working good. It seems sometimes sluggish but it does send me alarms once I move out of the protective fence area. EDIT: App can track my routes from the day before, it's very accurate. Device is peace of mind 4 sure. 👍🏽 LONG TERM: Coming up to the 5 month mark. One+ phones are klunky, app had to be reinstalled, reset app 2 allow notifications. All good. I will use this device on all cars.
