Librarika (https://librarika.com) is already being used by thousand of libraries around the world as an easy library management platform. This Android app is designed to help librarians smoothly manage their libraries on Librarika platform. The app leverages the Android phone's built-in bar-code scanner and camera as well as brings more ease and capabilities to the Android devices.

With Librarika Android App you can:

• Scan books using app's built-in bar-code scanner
• Easily add books and copies of book to your library catalog
• Manage Library Members / Patrons account
• Quickly check-out / check-in materials from your library
• Upload cover photos using phone's built-in camera.
• Switch between libraries from the same account.

This app is designed for Librarians to work as an additional tool in addition to our web based platform. Only a subset of capabilities are covered here.

Ans: This app is mobile focused, therefore doesn't contain all the functionalities. For full experience please use the web version.

The website is pretty good, but the app is horrible. It does not work well at all. I can get it to scan, but not much else from there. It heard that it's better for iphones. It should easily accessible for all smartphones with a quick method. Still the student's should be able to get on without having to give an email. Very roundabout.

There was a glitch when I tried to add pictures of the cover of the book with this app, which never got fixed. I overlooked this, because it was something I could live without anyway. Now it never loads. It shows all the features while "loading...", but none of the information, like issued or overdue books, or search results. So I will uninstall the app because now it's useless. Please notify me if this ever gets fixed! Thanks!

I was so excited about the features in this program, but members cannot check out titles using the app. As the administrator, I cannot use app to check in or out. I must use computer/website which can't scan barcodes. All features need to be available on app for this to work. So glad I only wasted 1 day setting up, adding 4 books and 1 student member. I would have been devastated adding the whole library and student body to find out mobile apps don't work for non staff members!
