We have been on Light gliders for 3 months and we love it! Getting to connect with other kids and play games with a purpose is a blast! My kids are homeschooled and this is a great way to game but without worrying about the "world" coming in. My kids do play from a Chromebook as the app is kind of small on a phone. It does take a minute to load but compared to other apps of the same caliber it is about the same. If you utilize the weekly focus you do have a lot to do and it keeps you busy.

This game has a lot to offer, but the main reason I signed up - it's safe! NO ADS!! I was so tired of all the ads in their free games and was looking for something worth paying for that isn't just straight educational/STEM so I don't burn them out on digital learning. I found this and love it! It's $10/mo for 5 kids, which I think is totally worth it! Plus, I love that the content is Christian and my kids are learning Scripture and asking good questions about creation and what's right or wrong and why. And when they just want to chill and have 'free play' screentime, there are tons of fun games in this app. Even ones I enjoy! :) (shh.. don't tell the kids!)

At first, the game wasn't loading properly and we weren't able to exactly trial it, but after I messaged the makers of Lightgliders, they were quick to address all my issues and I was able to try it out. I originally wanted this for my boys, 5 and 7 years of age, but after trying it out, realize it would much better benefit an older child who could read. Really cute game and concept.

What's new

Lightgliders can now use Boosts on other players and all throughout Glideon to grow a garden, create a fountain, light a fire, start a dance party, and more! The Missions log has been upgraded so that Lightgliders can transport from the Academy into specific areas in the Yonders to rescue Gliddles and clear the blight. In addition, there are fixes for minigame sizing, daily reminders about the chat rules, and new seasonal effects added to the world of Lightgliders. Glide on!
