As much as I love the blog, I loathe this app. The push notifications work rarely. The liveblog doesnt always work. The scrolling is too sensitive to horizontal movement and switches over to the next artice way too easily. Had an iPhone for 2 years, and sadly the iOS app was much, much better. I end up having to use Chrome more often than I'd like.

Edit (Apt 6th 2020) - lots of improvements made in the last few months. App is more usable now. Push notifications are broken on newer versions of Android. Refresh sometimes fails to fetch updates even though i have a solid connection. App is very poorly designed overall (unlike the content, which is excellent).

It's as if supporting Arsenal isn't maddening enough right now. This new app is a significant downgrade. It constantly crashes on my Android, and goes straight to browser in order to access the comments section. The previous version had a step inbetween with access within the app. Why did we have to change?? I'm reading articles and have to constantly re-enter the app, get back to where I stopped as quickly as I can, just to resume reading in anticipation of the next inevitable crash. FFS!!
