The AQuí Project (Virtual Environment for Chemistry Teaching) is a free application developed by the Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA) to support students, teachers, and professionals in learning about and using chemistry laboratories. It brings together, in a single space, the educational and communication resources produced since 2015 by the AQuí Project, previously available on its website, YouTube channel, and social media, and now adapted for an interactive version for mobile devices.
The content is organized into topics covering laboratory safety, preparation and handling of reagents and solutions, the use of different types of glassware and equipment, and guidance on the proper disposal of chemical waste. All materials have been reviewed and updated, incorporating improvements identified in previous research.
The application was developed to facilitate access to technical and educational information related to chemistry teaching and can be used in various contexts: as support for in-person classes, as a remote learning resource, or as a practical guide for laboratory activities. It can also assist professionals working in chemistry laboratories and related fields in handling equipment and other daily routines. Its purpose is to democratize scientific knowledge, bringing it closer to both elementary and higher education students, as well as teachers and professionals in the field.
Available for free on the Google Play Store, the AQuí Project offers a simple, organized, and accessible way to access essential information for training and practice in chemistry, strengthening the integration between digital resources and educational processes.
